My Journey So Far

 My journey began in my hometown, Taiwan. In the past, life at home was really easy. I didn’t have to worry about almost anything because my parents took care of everything for me. My friends started working at the age of sixteen, but I didn’t have my first job until I was eighteen. To be honest, I didn’t even know how to fry an egg at that time and had no life experience at all. Later I came to the United States by myself, and life was completely different. There is no one to rely on, and I have to do everything by myself. I was really panicked at the beginning. I didn’t even know how to choose fruits in the supermarket. It was then that I truly realized how difficult it is to live independently. I came to the United States because I wanted to learn different languages. Experience presentation

 Every team performed well this time! But I heard some people saying there was no teamwork, so I felt a little sad for her. But it doesn’t matter, she will meet good members next time. Everyone’s Canva was done beautifully this time, I like it very much. Everyone is becoming more and more fluent in speaking English and no one is afraid to speak out of shyness. And I think I am still very shy because I am not a very outgoing person. I was really nervous at the time, and when I practiced at home I could speak for more than five minutes. But when I explained my Canva I really couldn't do it, and I even spoke very quickly and softly. I don’t know if everyone  heard it clearly, but it doesn’t matter! I hope I can improve better next time!

Field trip🌈🔬🍩

Snow Experience

Hi! I’m Hsin. Snow evokes a dream feeling for me. Two years ago, I had a one night layover at Chicago airport. I was very sleepy when I got off the plane, but upon seeing the snow outside the window, I felt a surge of happiness. I decided to sit in the lounge area and watch the snow fall slowly. This year. I was fortunate enough to experience snow again, which provided me with a completely different experience. I nearly slipped when I stepped onto the snow. I thought it would be soft and squishy like in the movie, but the snow in Savannah is surprisingly hard! I couldn't even build a snowman. However, I did have snowball fights and lay in the snow with my cousin, and we took plenty of family photos together. That day, I felt like I was back in my childhood, free from the fear of falling or getting hurt. This snow experience made a lasting impression on me.
