Breonna Moffett👩🏾✈️
Breonna Moffett was from Savannah, Georgia. She was only 23 years old when she was killed Sunday in Jordan. She joined the US Army Reserve on April 29,2019, at the age of 17. She received many awards for her service, including the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal with “C’ Device, and Combat Action Badge. Breonna Moffett was remembered by many people. Family, friends, and her church community mourned her loss. Important speakers at the ceremony included US Army Brig.Gen Noel Palmer, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, and savannah Mayor Van Johnson. The Georgia State Patrol and veteran groups showed their respect with American flags and a motorcycle procession. Breonna Moffett went to Windsor Forest high school, where she was a leader. She was the drum major of the marching band and a member of the JROTC program. Her friend Jonathan Lee said she always encouraged him to speak up in class and be more confident.
